Rhône Dental Kids

Rhône Dental Kids is the pediatric wing of the Rhône Dental Clinic on Rue du Rhône 29 in Geneva, specialized in pediatric dentistry. The first visit lasts around thirty minutes and involves no treatment, taking place with parents present, often with the child on a parent's lap. The discussion covers cavity risk, the child's development and the state of the teeth, and an intraoral camera and LED transillumination are used for examination, which keeps X-rays limited to what is truly necessary.

For anxious children from about age four to five, the clinic offers nitrous oxide sedation (MEOPA) that keeps the child awake and able to move. The practice recommends the first checkup visit around the child's first birthday. It is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 7pm and on weekends with shorter hours, with consultations available in French and English.
